When Hope Blooms

Original Mixed Media Painting · 80 × 60 cm · 2026

When Hope Blooms is a mixed-media work from my Dreams series, exploring the way hope can emerge from the constant flow of information surrounding us.

Three large flowers represent three moments in time — the past, the present and the future. The tallest central flower represents the present: the place where we actually live, while carrying memories of what has already happened and thoughts about what is still to come.

The smallest flower represents the future — something not yet fully formed, but already beginning to grow. For me, this is where hope lives.

Fragments of newspaper are incorporated into the painting as a symbol of the endless stream of information that surrounds us — news, conflict, uncertainty and noise. Within the artwork, these fragments are transformed and become part of the flowers themselves.

It is a reminder that even among difficult news, something new can still grow.

Hope is not certainty. Sometimes it is simply the decision not to believe that the story is over.

The artwork combines acrylic, oil, ink and newspaper collage on canvas. Layered paint, paper and expressive lines create a richly textured surface, with details that reveal themselves gradually when viewed up close.

The artwork is signed only on the back intentionally. There is no predetermined top or bottom, allowing the collector to choose the orientation in which the work speaks most strongly to them and their space.
