About

Behind the Scenes

I studied to become a kindergarten teacher in the Soviet Union and became a mother at the age of eighteen. Later, I moved from Russia to Estonia, where I founded an art class for children while continuing to paint.

Around the year 2000, my family and I moved to Finland. As I built a new life, learned Finnish, and worked in different professions, I gained experiences that continue to inspire and shape my art today.

My Artistic Process

My artwork is closely connected to what happens in my own life and in the world around me. Sometimes an idea develops slowly over months or even years. Other times, I have a clear vision from the very beginning.

I am passionate about turning thoughts, emotions, and ideas into visual form. I enjoy the creative process, even when the subject is difficult or emotional.

Creating Art

Making art requires dedication, curiosity, and the courage to express yourself. Every brushstroke, color, and shape is a conscious choice.

The process often includes uncertainty, experimentation, and challenges. Yet in the end, each finished artwork carries its own meaning and tells a unique story to every viewer.
