“For Ukraine” — A Cry of Sorrow and Compassion

The painting “For Ukraine” is a profound expression of emotion. I am deeply saddened and my heart feels heavy because of what is happening in the world. I feel immense grief, and at the same time anger at my own helplessness. Blood is being shed, people and children are dying, and Ukraine is being destroyed before our eyes.

It is devastating that there seem to be no means to stop this terrible act. This painting is my way of expressing sympathy and compassion — a small gesture in the midst of great despair.
