Sea Star: The Life of a Silent Wanderer

What does the sea star see? Its world is the touch of waves, the play of light, the shadows of predators gliding by, and the rhythm of life in the underwater kingdom. It feels the warmth of the sun, even if it cannot lift its gaze to the sky. It senses the movement of water, even if it cannot comprehend where it leads.
Would I want to be a sea star? Perhaps, in moments of exhaustion from the human race for meaning and purpose. To be a creature that simply drifts with the current, free from worries and concerns. But perhaps, this very freedom from thought is its greatest limitation.
