Red Meadow

An Amulet of Healing and Protection

A painting born from the belief that even the deepest suffering can be met with compassion, protection, and hope.

Red Meadow is more than a landscape. It is a deeply personal and symbolic work, created as an amulet of healing — a visual expression of faith in a higher power that watches over us, carries our suffering, and offers the promise of salvation.

The crown of thorns stands at the heart of the composition. Yet here, it is not merely a symbol of pain or sacrifice. It represents divine compassion — a higher power willing to take upon itself the suffering of humanity.

The falling drops are its tears: tears of sorrow, love, and mercy.

Beneath them, the red meadow burns with the intensity of life itself. Its vibrant colours speak of wounds and resilience, but also of the extraordinary strength that allows life to continue.

For me, this painting is a talisman — a symbol of protection, spiritual healing, and the belief that we are never entirely alone in our darkest moments.

Red Meadow is a reminder that where there is compassion, there is hope.
